The textbook is written taking into account significant successes in modern children"s surgery, including the latest methods for visualizing the pathological processes of various organs of the child and the widespread introduction of minimally invasive methods of surgical treatment into the clinical practice.
In the I section of the textbook, the general provisions of children"s surgery are presented (anatomical and physiological characteristics of the child in the age aspect, methods of clinical and instrumental research, new possibilities of pain relief, intensive care and resuscitation measures, organization of outpatient surgical care, clinical genetics and antibacterial therapy in surgical clinic).
In the II section, private issues of children"s surgery are highlighted. Much attention is paid to modern high -informative diagnostic methods and minimally invasive endoscopic technologies for the operational treatment of diseases of the chest cavity, abdomen, as well as surgery of damage and orthopedic diseases in children of different age groups. Particular attention is paid to surgery of newborns.
The textbook is perfectly illustrated by original drawings, photographs, X-ray and tomograms, video materials.
