The educational publication is part of the educational and methodological complex consisting of a textbook and a workshop that is designed to help students in the development of academic discipline included in the general program for preparing bachelors and the passage of pedagogical practice. The textbook considers the history of the emergence and development of children"s camps, presents materials that are necessary for organizing work in a children"s recreation camp: theoretical foundations of the organization of the activities of counselors, recommendations on working with children of different age groups, performing regime moments, forms and methods of organizing the process of education in dollars etc. The workshop presents material on the organization of different types of activities of children and adolescents in the conditions of a children"s health camp. The manual is aimed at assisting counselors in working with a temporary children"s team in a children"s health camp.
