Patterns of the formation of water consumption and water supply of agricultural facilities in the conditions of the south of the Russian plain

The monograph sets out methodological approaches to the assessment of soil water resources and their parameters, the spatial and temporary variability of the water consumption and water supply of crops of spring wheat in the forest -steppe and steppe zones of the Russian plain is exposed. The structure of the total evaporation (transpiration and evaporation of the soil) of the agricultural field is considered and reserves of a possible increase in the water supply of sowing are revealed. The effectiveness of agrogydrological techniques for increasing the water supply of crops of agricultural crops - the detention of the drain of meltwater in the fields, sonorous plowing, plowing fields, mulching the soil with plant residues. The influence of possible climate changes on hydrothermal conditions and crops is investigated.
