The book about the Holy Martyr Hermogenes, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus" (c. 1530-1612), continues the series "Russiy MIP in the Persons". The publication collects works and messages of the courageous saint, in the word and example of overpowering the turmoil, the annals and legends of the 17th century, reflecting his feat, as well as the most significant estimates of the acts of the patriarch belonging to the pen of Russian historians and thinkers. Carefully commented on sources and texts recreate the true appearance of the High Priest, contemporaries deservedly nicknamed the "solid adamant and an unshakable pillar, a strong champion according to the Orthodox true Christian faith."
