This book is an expanded version of a course on the pathology of thinking, including lectures and practical exercises. The lectures were given by the prominent Soviet psychologist B.V. Zeigarnik to students of the psychological department of the philosophical faculty of Moscow State University. The book aims to familiarize students and clinical psychologists with various types of thinking disorders, methods used in the practice of pathopsychological laboratories, and theoretical principles of pathopsychology. The material for the book is based on data from experimental psychological research conducted by the author and colleagues in various psychological laboratories. The book is recommended as a textbook for psychology students specializing in pathopsychology, as well as for psychologists working in psychiatric clinics.
