Particles and atomic nuclei. Problems with solutions and comments

The task of the physics of the atomic nucleus and particles for students of higher educational institutions studying physics in the framework of the general course. The book was written on the basis of many years of experience in teaching physics of the atomic nucleus and particles at the Physics Faculty of Moscow State University. It consists of three chapters and contains more than 500 tasks with solutions and comments on all basic sections of subatomic physics. The first chapter represents a theoretical review, which can be considered as a methodological development of seminars in the physics of the atomic nucleus and particles. It contains the main physical position and formulas illustrated by the solution of more than 100 problems. The second chapter is the actual task that includes about 400 tasks in the main sections of the physics of the atomic nucleus and particles. The third chapter is devoted to the interaction of particles and radiation with the substance. It is written in the form of a theoretical review, supplemented by a solution of more than 40 problems.
The book is intended not only for students of general physical specialties, but also by physicists specializing in the nucleus and particle physics. It will be useful to master and graduate students, teachers and engineers, specialists of related natural scientific disciplines
