Yanush Korchak (1878–1942) - a great Polish teacher, a talented writer and public figure. During the First World War, he served as a military doctor in the divisional field hospital of the Russian Imperial Army, after he began to work as a doctor in shelters for Ukrainian children. During the Second World War, being sent to a concentration camp along with the pupils of the House of Orphan, he refused freedom several times, preferring death with the wards in the gas chamber. Yanush Korczak left not only a memory of himself, but also valuable books.
The book “Everything about how to love a child” is a genuine encyclopedia for small adults. Children are personalities who differ only in the lack of life experience. They have the right to respect, voice, their own opinion. They should be treated differently, but definitely with warmth and love.
Thanks to colorful metaphors and competent recommendations of Janusz Korczak, you will learn how to listen, hear and understand the child. Who knows, maybe the genius is sleeping in him?
