Information on general parasitology is provided. Separate sections are dedicated to protozoology, helminthology, and arachnoentomology. Descriptions of parasitic diseases with epizootic and economic significance are given. All diseases are described according to a unified plan. For each disease, a general definition is provided, including the most typical and characteristic symptoms of the disease, features of its epizootiology, the most significant pathological changes in organs and tissues, ending with the scientific name of the disease-causing agent and a list of animal species susceptible to this disease.
This information is intended for students of educational institutions implementing programs of secondary vocational education in the specialties 36.02.01 'Veterinary' and 36.02.02 'Animal Husbandry'.
