There are information on general parasitology. Separate sections are devoted to protozoology, helminthology and arachnentology. An description of parasitic diseases with epizootic and economic importance is given. All diseases are described by the Unified Plan. For each disease, a general definition is given, which includes necessarily the most typical and characteristic symptoms of the disease, features of its epizootology, the most essential pathological changes in organs and tissues and ending with the scientific name of the causative agent of the disease and the list of animal species susceptible to this disease. It is recommended as a basic textbook for students of veterinary universities and faculties
