1911. A strange man appears on Long Island. Professor Sardi, a fanatic with a secret past and an aura of Dr. Frankenstein, gathers the Panopticon - a sinister museum to showcase the wonders of life to people. And Coralie, a girl accustomed to difficulties, becomes one of those wonders. Along with her, others perform: the Butterfly Girl, the Boy from the Jungles, and the Wolf Man. Coralie enjoys the attention of the audience and the kindness of her new friends, but one day everything changes. A horrifying discovery, a corpse with its mouth sewn shut with blue threads, frightens her and makes her think. Gradually, Coralie realizes that she needs to escape from the professor and start a new life, or it may be too late.
