The first Tom of "Selected Works" Pavel Alexandrovich GRINSTER came out in 2008, while the author"s life. It includes the work of different years on the history of Old Indian literature. The second volume of "selected works" P.A. Grinzer is mainly compiled from articles on the comparative study of the literature and the classical Indian (Sanskrit) poetics ("Alansarasaster") These articles were created and published over the years (from the mid-1960s to 2008) Two articles are devoted to the first Russian translations of two famous monuments of Sanskrit"s literature: the translation of N.M. Karamzin"s elected scenes from the drama Kalidas "Shakuntala" (1792) and the transfer of the religious and philosophical poem "Bhagavadgit" (1788), the poem translated his friend"s friend N.M. Karamzin - A.A.Petrov. The book also included the translation from Sanskrit of the first three heads of the treatise of Dandine "Mirror of Poetry ( Cava) , VII century) and a list of basic scientific publications P.A.
