The leadership presents modern ideas about the relationship between the teeth, their roots, established implants and tissue of the prosthetic bed when applying overlapping designs of removable prostheses. Biomechanical characteristics are given, the functioning of them in physiological and abnormal loads is given, summarized the experience of using single teeth, their roots, established implants, developed indications for their use, taking into account the state of the prosthetic bed tissue in various clinical situations. Particular attention is paid to the choice of tactics of the manufacture of overlapping prostheses in complex clinical situations.
