From here, Maltus considered wars and epidemics a genuine blessing for humanity, since they help to reduce the number of people on Earth so that the remaining live better. Aurelio Pechchei - the largest Italian industrialist and public figure, writer and publicist, was the founder and first president of the famous Roman club. Pechchei, as well as Maltus, believed that on earth "too close", and proposed his ways to reduce the number of mankind
