The book describes a complex of medieval Russian coins of the first half of the 17th century, found in the Tula region several years ago. With the help of numismatic literature and on the basis of historical events, an attempt was made to date the time of its burial and determine the reasons that contributed to this. Work with archival materials made it possible to outline the circle of possible owners of the treasure and assume the most likely its owner.
