This work is devoted to the circumstances of the investigation of the murder of the CEO of public Russian television, the famous television journalist Vladislav Nikolayevich Listyev. It describes the features of the preliminary investigation according to one of the most resonant crimes in the criminal history of Russia of the 90s of the last century.
The author, as far as possible in the context of an incomplete investigation, opened the veil of secrets over some aspects of this case. The book provides specific facts about the behavior of famous politicians, journalists, and heads of law enforcement agencies during investigative actions with their participation or when discussing the progress of the investigation. Brief characteristics of some participants in the investigative-operational group are given. The author also talks about international legal cooperation with representatives of law enforcement agencies of a number of foreign states.
