Inessa Armand, one of the most active figures of the Bolshevik party, remained in history primarily as a person close to the Ulyanov family. A lot has been written about it, but little is known. The author opens up new pages in the biography of this political figure of the beginning of the twentieth century, this “Cinderella, on the contrary”, exchanging wealth and family well -being for full deprivation of life illegal in the name of social justice.
The story was written based on documentary materials from the personal archive of the Armand family, using the memoirs of children and grandchildren of Inessa Armand, as well as the previously published books by Pavel Podlyashuk "Comrade Inessa", Michael Pirson "Inessa, Muse of Lenin, letters V.I. Lenin from the complete works. For the first time, the texts of two letters of I.F. Armand and some previously unknown photos
