Prince Pyotr Andreevich Vyazemsky (1792-1878) - poet, critic, memoirist. For all the versatility of the talent and a long -term - almost three quarters of a century - literary activity can hardly be called a genre that would quite represent the Vyazem Literator. Most likely, it is the notebooks that he led sixty years that most reveal the mental and spiritual warehouse of his personality.
The first part of the book is made up of intravital publications-a brilliant collection of historical jokes, aphorisms and an acute called "Old notebook", this is the 8th volume of the 12-volume collected works of P. A. Vyazemsky. The second part (9th and 10th volumes) includes notes from 1813 to 1878-these are diaries and travel notes located in chronological order
