Anatoly Borisovich Mariengof (1897-1962) Poet, prose writer, playwright, memoirist, was a vivid figure in the literary life of Russia in the first half of our century. One of the founders of the poetic group of Imazhinists, who had a certain influence on the development of Russian poetry of the 10-20s. He was connected by close personal and creative friendship with Sergey Yesenin.
