Maximilian Voloshin (1877-1932) - Russian poet, literary and art critic, artist, translator. Without his heritage, it is impossible to imagine Russian fiction and literary criticism of the first third of the twentieth century.
The real publication included selected critical articles, reviews and essays on the fine art of the line of centuries, published by Voloshin in 1900-1906. In these short and often caustic texts, Voloshin gives a subjective assessment of the work of contemporaries - Vrubel, Slevinsky, Denis, Redon, Saryan and others - and comments on ways of developing picturesque art in Russia and France
