The book is a educational publication in which constructive solutions to the main nodes and assemblies of vehicles, the laws of functioning and the features of their calculation are represented from system -technical positions. Significant attention is paid to the theoretical analysis of the operational properties of vehicles in order to assess the conformity of the structures of the car and the effectiveness of its functioning to road conditions. The methods for calculating the brake, steering systems and the determination of the coordinates of the center of gravity of vehicles, as well as the traction calculation of vehicles are described. The main factors affecting operational properties in real conditions of operation of vehicles are considered.
The textbook is written in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education of the third generation and is intended for bachelors of the direction of training 03/23/01- Technology of transport processes, 05/23/02- ground transport and technological equipment, 23.03.03- operation of transport and technological machines and complexes, as well as masters of the direction of training 23.04.01- technology of transport processes, 04/23/02- ground transport and technological equipment, 23.04.03- operation of transport and technological machines and complexes.
The book may be useful for engineering and technical workers of automotive industry enterprises, as well as service specialists and everyone who is associated with the operation of vehicles
