Derek Jarmen (1942-1994) is known primarily as one of the most original independent directors of Europe, on the account of which dozen full -length films, more than twenty clips (including those shot for The Smiths and Pet Shop Boys) and three Teddy awards - special Prize of the Berlin Film Festival for paintings about sexual minorities.
