Orthodox shrines and miraculous icons of Moscow

The book is dedicated to describing the earthly lives of the most famous Orthodox saints and miraculous icons. It tells the stories of extraordinary personalities whose lives were closely connected to Moscow, canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church, and examples of lives called to serve people. The book narrates about ruling figures and members of their families, prominent church hierarchs, other active promoters of faith and piety, the most well-known blessed individuals. For the first time, the book provides a comprehensive account of the miraculous icons present in Moscow's churches, as well as other Orthodox relics and sanctuaries. In the appendix, information is presented in tabular form about specific prayers to the icons in times of need, illness, and sorrow, as well as the locations of the relics and honorable remains of saints, other Orthodox relics, and holy springs and revered bodies of water in Moscow.
