Russian Orthodox Church honors many saints. These are people who live at the very time. Many of them are separated from us for almost two millennia. Among them, for example, the associates of Christ - the apostles. In Western countries, they honor such saints as Nikolai Mirlijsky, and St. George, and in Orthodoxy this is Nicholas Miracle and Georgy Victorious. Among the honors in Russia, the saints are quite a few and exclusively Russian. This is the princes Boris and Gleb, the epic bogatyr Ilya Muromets, Prince Alexander Nevsky, IconpoCell Andrei Rublev, Ksenia Petersburg and the last king Nikolai II ... What merits are they worshiped holy? Who can be called holy? This is also told in our book
