The next (eighth) release of Almanaci origins continues the series published by the publishing house of the Higher School of Economics. The central issue of the issue is a theoretical reflection of changes and qualitative shifts in economic reality and in the sphere of economic analysis.
In the opening almans, articles presents the problems of social constructing of economic reality and new aspects in the history of two, which have become in the development of economic analysis, theoretical revolutions - marginistical (1870s) and formalistic (1950s) Articles of Russian authors prepared for Almanac are devoted to the issues of spatial and temporal coordinates in the representation of economic reality. The works of prominent American economists demonstrated differences between monetarist and Keynesian approaches to monetary policy issues on the example of the US economy of the second half of the XX century. Quality shifts in economic reality in the context of economic and historical studies are discussed in the article by Clark, which is asked: why not all countries of the world have become economically developed? We complete the work of the work devoted to the history of Latin American structuralism - the direction of the analysis of economic development based on the concept of peripheral capitalism of the Argentine economist R. Prebish.
