Designing sections and workshops. Educational guide.
Approved by the UMO of universities in the field of automated mechanical engineering (UMO AM) as a textbook for students of universities studying in the fields of preparation 'Design and technological support of mechanical engineering productions', 'Automation of technological processes and productions'. The course 'Organizational and technological design of sections and workshops' is one of the components of the discipline cycle for the directions of preparation 'Design and technological support of mechanical engineering productions', 'Automation of technological processes and productions'. The purpose of the educational guide is to familiarize students with the methodology of designing forging shops and plants. Chapters 1-9 present new information related to the comprehensive approach to designing workshops, summarizing and interrelating previously acquired knowledge on designing technological processes of forging and stamping, forging-press equipment, automation and mechanization of such productions, economics and organization of production, information support, labor protection, and life safety. Chapters 10-16 describe the features of designing workshops for forging-stamping production of various technological purposes. Examples of typical technological processes of sheet metal, bulk stamping, and forging are provided. Issues of automating the calculation of optimal equipment loading in workshops depending on the nature of production and system analysis of production based on the phases of the life cycle are considered. The appendix contains regulatory materials necessary for calculating sections and workshops. The educational guide is intended for students studying in the specialties 'Design of technological machines and complexes' and 'Design of technical and technological complexes'.
