The main aspects of the organization of consulting activities in the APC are considered. Foreign and domestic experience of agricultural consulting is presented. The methodological approaches to the formation of a holistic system for the development of scientific and technical advances in agricultural production, promotion of innovation, effective advisory on agribusiness, applying modern information technologies are disclosed. Particular attention is paid to the development of personnel potential of consulting services, their place and roles in the implementation of the agricultural policy of Russia, in the formation of an innovative investment strategy of regions.
