This tutorial is a collection of exercises to acquire initial oral translation skills from Spanish and to Spanish. It includes training cycles aimed at developing the memory and attention of the translator, speech and diction, switching skill, introduces a large array of vocabulary of the main vocabulary, geographical and own names into active stock. When developing exercises, the latest methods of teaching translation are used. The training manual is based on the methodical principles set out by I. S. Alekseev in the book: Vocational Training of the Translator, St. Petersburg, 2000 (2nd Edition: Professional Training, St. Petersburg, Soyuz, 2001 G) The methodology of the initial stage is introduced to the instruction of interpretation with English, French, German, Spanish and Chinese in the St. Petersburg Higher School of Translation of the University of Herzovsky, which successfully prepares translators of international organizations.
The manual is intended primarily for students who acquire a specialty translator, but may also be useful for professionals who want to increase their professional level. The use of the benefit involves a fairly high level of knowledge of Spanish. However, some exercises can be quite used to teach the basics of translating in high schools of specialized schools with in-depth teaching of Spanish
