Brief information is provided on the types of gas industry products, types of natural gas fields, and the stages of their development and operation. Issues related to equipment and technology for arranging and preparing gas wells for operation are discussed. Methods and basic schemes for gas purification from mechanical impurities, drying and cleaning natural gas from hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide, separation and benzene removal from natural gas, and liquefied gas production technology are considered. The conditions for establishing the technological operating mode of gas wells are shown.
