Irina Filaletta is one of the most readable and revered hermetic authors over the past three and a half century. Under this name in the XVII century, two very similar, but still differing alchemical text - in Latin and English, and both claim the status of the original source. This publication offers their parallel transfers, which will allow the reader not only to familiarize himself with them, but also compare them on their own.
In both translations, the features of the typography of the corresponding source are preserved, including italics and uppercase letters. Diffuses in the proportions of matter, cooking time and the number of repetitions of operations, as well as "extra" fragments, which attentive reader will detect in the translation of the English version of the text, will give rich food for reflection and, it is quite possible, it will help him to better understand the hermetic philosophy and the art of alchemy.
