Alexander Petrov was born in 1964 in Leningrad. She studied at the University of Tartu, from 1993 to 1998 she lived in Jerusalem, from 1998 to the present - in Rome. Published poems and essays in the "Mitin magazine", the magazines "continent", "Banner", "Mirror", "Air", published the book "Line of Turning away" (St. Petersburg, 1994) and "Residence permit" (M.: UFOs: UFOs , 2000, series "Andrey Bely" Prize) Translated into Italian published a collection of verses by Altri Fuochi ("Other Lights", 2005) and the philosophical operetta "Pastuhi Dolly" (2003)
