In a publication prepared by specialists of the Moscow Scientific Research of the Oncology Institute. P.A. Herzena, relevant issues of cancer surgery of the mammary gland are presented: historical aspects, anatomy, morphological features, oncological and aesthetic principles. Options for organ -preserving operations with simultaneous reconstruction by local fabrics are presented, with the replacement of defects with complex localizations of the tumor process, developed on the basis of copyright methods of reduction mammoplasty, and the technique of operations with phased illustrations is described in detail. The features of surgical complications, recurrence, complex and combined treatment, and rehabilitation are indicated. The aesthetic results of onclastic resections are presented, psychological aspects are considered.
