The Holy Scriptures speak of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. In these words there is no place for fear and despair, they give hope to every Orthodox Christian: no matter what happens on earth, our Fatherland - in heaven!
The immortality of the soul is not theoretical truth. The Lord gives us numerous examples of the immortality of man and the life of the soul behind the fob: all our loved ones and relatives are alive, but live a different life, not the one that we live now. On Earth, all people are wanderers who seek the eternal city - heavenly Jerusalem. How to prepare for this eternal life? This will be discussed in the second book - On the threshold of eternity
