Sergey Solovyov was born in 1959 in Kyiv. He studied at the Faculty of Philology of Chernivtsi University and the schedule of graphics of the Kyiv Academy of Arts. For six years he restored frescoes in Ukrainian churches. The first book was published in 1979. In the early 1990s he published a literary and art newspaper "Ark". He lived in Russia, Germany, India. He spent two seasons of literary and musical evenings "Speech landscapes", released three volumes of the Almanac "Figures of Speech", and acted as the organizer of the literary prize "reader". The author of the ten books of poetry and poetic prose, as well as the book "Book" - presentations of the cultural project of the Figure of Time, dedicated to the turn of the millennia
