Publication of Memoirov A.V. Chernosh (1884-1967), representative of the galaxy of Russian officers-participants in the First World War, colonel of the General Staff, chief of communications of the 17th Corps of the 5th Russian Army, is carried out jointly with the State Archive of the Russian Federation and timed to 100- The summer of the First World War. The first three parts of the memoirs cover the period of the author’s service from 1914 to 1916 and present unique evidence of an eyewitness and a participant in the hostilities in the districts of the San River near Peremyshl, crossing the Bug River, and the Russian Army’s departure to Vladimir-Volynsky. The last part of the memoirs is dedicated to the service of A.V. Chernysh in the Volunteer Army in 1918
