Toxocariasis is a widely spread parasitic disease that can affect various organs and tissues of the body. It is particularly common in children. Clinical symptoms include visceral, cutaneous, ocular, and neurological forms. Ocular toxocariasis is a severe condition that often leads to significant vision loss, even blindness. The methodological recommendations cover the etiology, pathogenesis, modern diagnostic and treatment methods, as well as prevention of ocular toxocariasis.
