The authors of this manual rely on the classical tradition of teaching the Old Slavonic language at the university and the new concept of studying Slavistic disciplines using a complete set of educational books of theoretical and practical direction. For the first time, the proposed tables, texts and academic dictionary of the Old Slavonic language (over 3500 most common words and phraseological) are drawn up on the basis of the most authoritative work of domestic and foreign Slavists. Adding to traditional phonetic, morphological and syntactic sections of new - vocabulary, word formation and especially the educational dictionary - gives not only a holistic idea of all Parties to the Old Slavonic language, but also discovers the prospects for its further study in terms of comparison with the Russian language, its history and culture.
