The book that you keep in your hands came out first edition in 1883, and since then has become famous thanks to the illustrations of an outstanding French artist and the designer of Children"s books Louis-Moris Bute de Monvel. And the songs and dances entered into this book arranged the famous French composer Charles Marie Vido. The collection shows the notes, original (French) lyrics and their translations made by a brilliant children"s poet and translator Mikhail Claus
