The book offered to your attention is devoted to the subject as interesting and important, as far as the poor and the history of the Ural Strochet.
The first part provides a historical essay, covering the period from the beginning of the XIX to the end of the XX century. On the example of several Ural abode, where the tradition of olderism existed, as well as the example of its most striking representatives, the great importance of this ancient monastic business, on the basis of which, and modern Russian monasticism can be revived.
In the second part of the book, the instructions and letters of the elders are placed.
The book is richly illustrated by the old and modern photographs.
