The handbook, addressed to graduates of 9th grade general education institutions, contains the material of the 'History of Russia' course in full volume, which is tested in the main state exam. The structure of the book corresponds to the modern codifier of content elements for the subject, based on which the exam tasks - control measuring materials for the Unified State Exam (EGE) - are compiled. The handbook includes three sections: 'Antiquity and the Middle Ages', 'Modern Times', 'Contemporary History', their content is presented in the form of structural-logical schemes and tables, allowing not only to quickly memorize extensive factual material, but also to understand the interconnection between individual events, phenomena, and processes. Samples of tasks and answers to them, concluding each section, as well as a practice version of the exam in the format of the EGE, will help assess the level of preparation in the subject. The manual contains a chronological table - dates of the most important events in Russian history, knowledge of which is necessary for successful completion of the state final certification. The author of the book - Pyotr Anatolyevich Baranov, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences of the Russian Federation, Honored Teacher of Russia - is well known as the creator of school textbooks and teaching aids on history and social studies, including those for preparation for the state final certification.
