The book of the Tula researcher Mikhail Klepov is the most complete list of officers awarded the Order of St. George and St. George weapon during the First World War. This, to a certain extent, the biographical reference book contains information about almost 11,000 officers-Georgievsky Cavaliers. For the first time, information about dates, causes of death and places of their burials are given.
The publication is illustrated by more than 500 unique photographs of monuments on the graves of officers-Georgievsky cavaliers made by the author in Russia and in many European countries, as well as those received from the descendants of the awarded officers-Georgievsky cavaliers and ordinary citizens from many countries of the world.
