Roman "Oblomov" is a central work in the famous trilogy of Ivan Alexandrovich Goncharov (1812-1891) Goncharov created a hero whose name became a household name. He is identified with Russian laziness and Russian spleen, considered the embodiment of a national character. However, this does not prevent critics and readers from finding the features of Hamlet and Manilov, Don Quixote and even Pechorin in the image of Oblomov. The author shows the tragic fate of a smart person who has not found the strength to be worthy of life.
