Nuovo Magari is an Italian language course for foreigners aimed at intermediate and advanced students (from B2 to C2 level of the Common European Framework). This new edition of Magari offers two volumes divided by levels (vol. 1: B2 - vol. 2: C1/C2), each of which includes classroom activities and exercises. The content has been renewed and enriched. In particular:
- some units have been replaced and others revised and updated,
- at the end of each unit, a Video section has been added with educational activities to be carried out in class using videos available online on the dedicated website for the book.
- two sections of activities on literary texts have been added, one at the end of level C1 and one after C2.
Nuovo Magari is particularly suitable for those students who, already possessing a decent knowledge of Italian (level B1), want to refresh and improve their skills to reach a higher level (C2). It addresses the study of forms, syntactic constructs, and stylistic elements that are very common in the language and generally not extensively covered in Italian textbooks for foreigners. It also delves into more elementary and already known topics, framing them from a different perspective.
The course is characterized by a strong cultural approach, with units divided into five thematic macro-areas (Geography, Society, Arts, Language, History), through which a rich, articulated, and non-trivial profile of Italy yesterday and today is outlined.
