Numicon. Games and tasks with parts of the famous constructor.

Numicon is a unique game made of flat plastic pieces of different colors with holes designed to teach children mathematics, arithmetic, and geometry, developed according to a special methodology in Great Britain. Numicon is now used in kindergartens and schools in many countries. This book comes with a set of pieces made of thick paper.

How to play Numicon? Each piece has one or several holes where children can insert their fingers for counting. All pieces have specific colors: all "threes" are yellow, all "fives" are red, all "nines" are purple, all "tens" are blue, and so on. All pieces with an even number of holes have a rectangular shape with a side of 2. All "odd" pieces have a protrusion - children say they have a "tail" or "it's a house with a chimney."
