The monograph is devoted to the history of Russian theological thought of the second half of the XVII - early XVIII century. On the material of the era, the entry of Russian theology in the "stress field ”, set by the paradigms of the New Age, as well as the initial reception of the ideas of Augustinism, which subsequently had a noticeable influence on the internal development of tradition, is traced.
