For more than 100 years, the world reads works about Sherlock Holmes. The glory of this hero eclipsed all the well-known characters of world literature.
This volume includes a collection of stories about the famous detective - "Notes about Sherlock Holmes" (1892-1893), among which "ritual of the middle of the Mersevov", "Gorbun", "Maritime Agreement", "Yellow Persian", as well as the story "The last thing Holmes", in which Sherlock Holmes enters into death with the head of the London criminal world by Professor Moriarty at Reichnbakh Falls.
In this edition, all 97 illustrations of the famous British artist Sydney Paduget, made by them for the magazine "Strend", are reproduced.
