Anatoly Fedorovich Koni (1844-1927) was a famous lawyer, judge, statesman, public figure, writer, judicial orator, actual privy councillor, and a member of the State Council of the Russian Empire until 1917. The book includes well-known cases such as 'Abbess Mitrofania', 'From Kazan Memories', 'The Ovsyannikov Case', 'Dark Case'. The collection also features an essay 'Prince A.I. Urusov and F.N. Plevako', telling about outstanding judicial orators who, without prior preparation, reached the level of the best representatives of Western European advocacy. 'Notes of a Judicial Figure' demonstrate how much work and energy Anatoly Fedorovich devoted to justice.
