Where is the world drifting - where is the country drifting? Life as it is, before the war and without the 'crown'. Personal experience of the times of stagnation in the empire's heyday. About people, countries, and shores - near and far. ...And a little about the good and the different. Here, there is almost no politics - thank God. The war started a year later, but we didn't know it then. Now it's in full swing, and no one knows when it will end. At that time, it seemed like the biggest headache on the planet was the coronavirus. However, many did not believe in it and still don't, thinking that the main problem of those times was the schedule of walks in Moscow, mandatory wearing of masks and gloves, as well as the usual vaccination under Soviet rule. Anti-vaxxers then vehemently opposed 'chipping', from religious fanatics to secular fools with not a single brain cell, as there are far more fools in the world than foolish theories. The author continued to write as usual every day, and when the time came, he easily discarded all the outdated material regarding current politics, leaving behind memories, reflections, travel notes, and sketches of the surrounding nature.
