The book is devoted to the study of English identity, which the author considers as a product of an intensive and dramatic dialogue between the Celtic and German beginnings in the context of Anglo-British civilization. The Anglo-British Dasein, according to the author, does not constitute an independent Logos (unlike the German and French logos), but is a unique, sometimes conflict combination of both. According to the author, the leading role of England in developing and promoting on the planetary scale of the paradigm of the new time is a logical consequence of the internal conflict of Anglo-British civilization, at a certain stage formulated a set of main principles of modernist: nominalism, scientific and materialistic picture of the world, liberalism, market, individualism, thalassology .
The book continues the series of works "Nomochea", which aims to explore the ratio of the three Logos (Apollo, Dionysus, Cybel) through the history of various civilizations. This work specifies and complements the second section ("Logos of Europe") project "Nomocius"
