Ninni dreams of a bicycle, but she only has enough pocket money for ice cream. She needs to earn some extra money! But who would hire a nine-year-old girl? Perhaps some eccentric person... To fulfill her dream, Ninni goes to the "Nightmare Shop" - a store that sells monster brooms, cages for ghosts, and other magical items. The interview turns into her first test. It's not easy to find the right potion among jars with specks of intelligence and bags with mini-dragons! Even the store owner, Strannoded, is always getting lost here... The creepy assortment and strange employees of the shop are not scary at all, but very cute and charming - this was taken care of by Magdalena Hai, the author of the famous Finnish steampunk novel "The Pauper Princess", and the artist Teemu Juhani - a big fan of cookies. According to unconfirmed reports, after creating illustrations for the "Nightmare Shop", he prefers a charlotte made of lizard eyeball apples.
