Francis Scott Fitzgerald belongs to the number of the largest prose writers in the USA of the 20th century. In his novels on the other side of Paradise, the Great Gatsby, "The Last Magnat" and other Fitzgerald managed to express the mood of the Jazz Age, marked by ceremonial optimism and an inflated thrust to consumption, which ended in 1929, the strongest economic crisis. His novel "Night is tender", which the writer called his favorite work, was no exception
